Stephan Barrientos, MD Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, is a native of New Hyde Park, New York. He attended the University of Rochester for his undergraduate training and was a Rochester Early Medical Scholar allowing for an accelerated academic and medical school track. He received general surgery training at ECU/Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina and completed a plastic surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is dual fellowship trained in pediatric craniofacial surgery and wound healing and regeneration. In line with his fellowship training, Dr. Barrientos has published extensively in the area of craniofacial surgery and wound healing.
